| | We have just spent 2 days in Reutte (prounced Roy-tuh), a quiet little town right on the German-Austrian border, near the German town of Fussen and the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. The area is very green, dotted with little lakes and towns that look straight out of a fairly tale. The hotel is one of the best we have stayed in so far, about a half mile outside of town and we have had 2 excellent dinners there together. Overall, I have been pretty impressed by the hotels we have stayed in and restaurants we have eaten in together. We spent the morning yesterday at Mad King Ludwig's Castle, Neuschwanstein. It is the castle that Disneyland modeled their castle after, and it was pretty impressive. Afterwards, we took a luge ride at a nearby park, which was a blast and everyone loved. It was a metal tube with a track running down the center, not the kind on ice, but still pretty fun. |
